I love the ease of use of electronic weather stations, but I have found that in general using an electronic weather station to output monthly climate data causes many errors due to software and hardware errors and interruptions. These observations have been taken from manual observations and automatic electronic instrument observations, then compared with the nearest NWS stations (see the Central PA Mesonet). When the data is suspect, comments are given. Details on the coding and explanations of the data are given on the data pages below. More months are coming soon.
